Stade Rochelais, more commonly known as La Rochelle, is a club based in the southwestern coastal city of France. The club reached Top 14 for the first time in 2010 before unfortunately being relegated to Pro D2 the following year. From there, the club implemented a five-year plan to turn itself around and become a top French premier team. In the 2013-2014 season, the club made its return to Top 14. After this success, the club, which was called atorigine Atlantic Stade Rochelais, changed its name by removing the word "Atlantic" and changing its logo. Today, the club still ranks high in the Top 14.
