Our selection of promotions lifestyle brings together discounted rugby-style items from end-of-line stock: polos, t-shirts, sweatshirts, shirts, jackets and parkas, caps. To make the most of it, we explain how to recognise a well-made garment, which material to choose depending on the use, and how to find the right size from one brand to another.
The rugby style, piece by piece.
Some details reveal the quality of a garment. On a polo, the ribbed collar should return to its shape after stretching and the button placket should remain flat; side slits, with a longer back hem, indicate a tailored fit. On a sweatshirt, you can see the thick, firm ribbing on the cuffs and hem, as well as the straight and even seams. A dense embroidery, with a clean reverse, holds up better to washing than a fine printed logo. These indicators apply to all brands in the selection and allow you to assess a piece in seconds.

Cotton dominates the lifestyle wardrobe: soft and breathable, it's suitable for polos, T-shirts, and everyday shirts, but dries slowly. Polyester, often blended with cotton in sweatshirts, reduces shrinkage and retains its shape better wash after wash. Wool, rarer, provides natural warmth and regulates moisture, which is nice for a winter piece. For puffer jackets and parkas, the focus shifts to the filling: light down for dry cold, synthetic fibers for humid climates and frequent washing.
Sizes vary from one brand to another: a fitted M in one brand can sometimes equal a loose S in another. The instinct is to compare your chest measurement with the brand's size guide, rather than relying on the usual label. To make your clothes last, wash at thirty degrees, inside out, grouping dark colours, and avoid fabric softener on technical fabrics. Polos and T-shirts dry flat or on hangers, while sweatshirts should be kept away from the tumble dryer, which shrinks cotton and damages prints.
Good bargains can be found in clearance sales, sales, and Black Friday. The new arrivals feature the latest collections. Items shipped within 24 hours are prepared and sent out in 24 hours. The major events of the year follow a stable order: Black Friday at the end of autumn, the end-of-year holidays, winter sales, spring French Days, then summer sales and back to school.
Pique, knitted with small patterns, is more breathable and maintains its shape well, making it the fabric of the classic polo. Jersey, smooth and more fluid, offers a feel closer to that of a T-shirt and a more casual look.
Wash it at a maximum of thirty degrees and avoid the tumble dryer, which is the main cause of cotton shrinkage. Combed cotton or cotton blended with a bit of polyester tends to be more stable than basic cotton.
It's the weight of the fabric in grams per square metre. Around two hundred and fifty grams, the sweatshirt remains lightweight, ideal for mid-season; over three hundred and fifty, it becomes thick and warm, designed for winter.
Compare your chest measurement with the brand’s guide, adding a few centimetres if you plan to wear a thick layer underneath. Also check the stated length, whether it reaches the hips or mid-thigh, depending on the desired coverage.
Most adjustable or snapback caps cover a wide range of head sizes, from about fifty-five to sixty centimetres. Closed-back models, however, come in several sizes that should be chosen based on your measurement.
