The blue and white of Brittany.
The RC Vannes, founded in 1950, spent a long time in the amateur divisions before climbing the ranks to the professional world. In 2024, in Toulouse, they beat Grenoble 16 to 9 in the Pro D2 final and became the first Breton club to reach the Top 14. After being relegated at the end of their first season in the top tier, they once again won the Pro D2 in 2026, defeating Provence Rugby 18 to 14 in the final, having finished the regular season at the top with a considerable lead, and immediately returned to the Top 14.

Vannes plays at the Rabine stadium, opened in 2001 near the port and the Gulf of Morbihan, renovated in 2006 and expanded in 2022. The club played its first match there on April 27, 2002, against Nantes. The venue now has just under twelve thousand seats and is regularly full, supported by a Breton enthusiasm that has accompanied the club's rise. It also hosted the Junior World Championship in 2013, a testament to Vannes' place in the landscape of French rugby.
The success of RCV is based on an original economic model, backed by hundreds of local partners, companies from Morbihan and across Brittany, who have gradually financed the club's rise. This network has enabled the construction of a competitive team without a major benefactor, while developing an academy and an ambitious "espoirs" team. The club thus carries the colours of a region that has long been distanced from professional rugby, now becoming one of the most enthusiastic in the country, as evidenced by the full stands at the Rabine.
