The Aviron Bayonnais, champion of France in 1913, 1934 and 1943, has experienced the Pro D2 several times. Relegated in 2021 after a promotion match lost against their Biarritz neighbours, the Basque club won the division final in 2022 and quickly returned to the top. Their sky blue and white jerseys and match socks are included in this selection. The FC Grenoble Rugby, champion of France in 1954, reached the final in 1993 against Castres, which is famous for a disputed try awarded to the Tarnais. Their kids' jerseys, home and away, feature the colours of the Isère club.

The Pro D2 brings together sixteen clubs competing in thirty league matches. At the end of the regular season, the top six qualify for the play-offs: quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final. The winner of the final is promoted directly to Top 14, while the runner-up plays a promotion match against the thirteenth in the top tier, at their ground: a knockout match that decides the last place among the fourteen. At the bottom of the table, the last-placed team is relegated to Nationale, the third division. This system explains the intensity of the end-of-season, where a bonus point can change a club's fate.
A kids' jersey of the club features the colours and badge of the adult model in a slightly looser fit, designed for movement. The manufacturers label them by age, but their sizing is based on stature: so it's important to check the fit before buying, and leave a bit of room for growth. The match socks are chosen by shoe size range; they rise just below the knee and are worn over any shin guards, secured with adhesive tape. They should be washed inside out at thirty degrees to maintain the vibrancy of the club colours.
Good deals can also be found in the good deals, sales, and Black Friday. The new arrivals showcase the latest collections. The highlights of the year follow a stable pattern: the Black Friday at the end of autumn, the holiday season, winter sales, French Days in spring, then summer sales and back-to-school.
Aviron Bayonnais is primarily a rowing society, founded in 1875 and focused on the Adour, with its rugby section established in 1904. The name has remained, and the club plays at the Jean-Dauger stadium, by the Nive.
The FCG plays its matches at the Stade des Alpes, a venue with around twenty thousand seats, after having played for a long time at the Stade Lesdiguières, its historic home. The club is one of the oldest in the Alps, with a long tradition of training.
The Pro D2 is the second professional division, managed by the National Rugby League, while the Nationale, launched in 2020, constitutes the third division, organized by the federation. Clubs move between the two depending on promotions and relegations.
A victory earns four points, a draw two. An attacking bonus rewards the team that scores at least three more tries than its opponent, while a defensive bonus is given to the team that loses by five points or less.
At ten years old, most children measure between 135 and 145 centimetres: you choose the corresponding range from the manufacturer's size chart, often noted as ten or twelve years old. In case of doubt, choosing the next size up allows for growth.
